How does ObitBox work?
Users can simply upload the PDF of the obit through our website interface, and after a payment of $2.99, the obit will be published and available online for three years.

Can I share the obituary link with others?
Yes, once the obituary is uploaded and published on ObitBox, users will receive a unique link that can be shared with family and friends to access the obituary online.

Why should I use ObitBox?
ObitBox provides a convenient and lasting way to preserve and share the memory of your loved ones with family and friends. It ensures that the obituary remains accessible for years to come.

Why can’t I just post the link on Social Media?
You can and certainly should post your ObitBox link to your social media pages 😁. However, also consider your audience (particularly Seniors). Does everyone have access? After years, how easy is it to find? With ObitBox, one URL provides simple direct access for your precious memory.

What if I don’t have an electronic copy of the Obit?
Simply scan or take a picture of the Obit, and import it into your favorite editing tool (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs, Canva, etc…) and create a .pdf. Upload to ObitBox and you are all set.

Does ObitBox provide a QR code?
You guys are asking a lot… Yes, we provide QR codes.

Is ObitBox secure?
Yes, ObitBox takes privacy and security seriously. We employ industry-standard encryption and security measures to safeguard the uploaded obits and users' personal information.

Can I edit or update the obituary once it's uploaded?
Unfortunately, once an obituary is uploaded and published on ObitBox, it cannot be edited or updated. We recommend ensuring the accuracy of the information before submission. Let’s face it, if you make a mistake and want to change the obit, it’s cheap and then just send out the updated link.

What happens after the three-year period?
After three (3) years, the obituary will no longer be accessible through ObitBox. However, to extend the duration, you can simply renew for an additional fee.

Can I download or print the obit from ObitBox?
Yes, users have the ability to download or print the obit from ObitBox during the active three-year period for personal use or to share with others.

Is there a limit to the number of obits I can upload?
No, there is no limit to the number of obits you can upload to ObitBox. You can upload as many obits as needed for your family members and loved ones.
